Personally I love coming to see May and getting creative! I have been many, many times and created so many things, they’re all over my house & garden! (Im trying to get a garden like May! I love looking at all her glass & carboot finds!) But I also love doing fundraisers for Enrych! SmArtsy’s fundraising packs are fab! Watching people who wouldn’t normally do ‘arty’ stuff get so creative they end up doing 3 or 4 pieces! All in all, a lovely little business!’
‘A group of us went to SmARTsy as a craft-y hen do activity. We had a range of ages and crafting abilities in our group, and May was able to accommodate us and adapt to our different needs. She helped people with any aspect we found challenging, but also gave us creative freedom and space to get on with our ideas. For those of us who struggled with cutting the glass there were work-arounds to still engage in the activity without straining too much. We had a great time – thank you!
Can’t wait to see the outcome of our pieces, it was something none of us had tried before and May gave us a great introduction to the craft. My friend and I are already talking about when we could go back and have another go!
‘Received a voucher for my birthday and do not have a creative bone in my body! I reluctantly booked myself & hubby onto a workshop and turned up nervously, not knowing what to expect. I needn’t have worried. May was the perfect tutor and was full of knowledge and ideas, offering help at each stage if needed. It was a warm and friendly atmosphere and i thoroughly enjoyed it. I even managed to find a nugget of creativity from somewhere!
